"Baby's Shoes"
Oil on 8x6 hardboard panel
These baby shoes belonged to my youngest son, who is now 20 years old. I remember taking him to the shoe store, where the clerk measured his foot and tried these shoes on him. He learned to walk in them... it doesn't seem that long ago! I've always loved this classic style of white baby shoes, they are ageless.

I like this style of baby shoe as well. I don't see them very much these days. I think both my girls had a pair though (they are 27 and 25 now). Beautifully painted, as always, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteLovely painting. Beautiful details.
ReplyDeleteI remember those baby shoes. The sole was so stiff, I though It made it harder for my baby to walk. But that's what everyone recommended.
Debbie, These are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun idea. Painted beautifully. Yes, they grow up waaaay too fast.
