I couldn't resist coloring in my value study from the previous post. I like how it came out, the cherries are nice and dark. My favorite part was painting the stems on.
Your thumbnail jumped out at me. I recognized that you had painted the value study. It is beautiful! So many variations of red in the cherries. I love the stems, too!
This is great Debbie, your fruit always captures that plump, juicy quality. So did you find that the value study helped you along with this painting, or was it just like typical?
Each piece you've done while my modem was out of order (new one came today) is just so lovely. I have to say, however, that the tonal piece below this one is just out of this world beautiful!
Love it Debbie! I love the shadows. You have a great eye.
ReplyDeleteYou paint the most amazing cherries.
