"Watermelon and Cherries" Oil on 5x7 board
What's better on a hot day than a few slices of watermelon!
This painting can be purchased through the Daily Paintworks auction. It is a nice alternative to ebay, since DPW sells only artwork. It's a great site for collectors to go to, there is a huge selection of artists, and hundreds of paintings all in one place to choose from. I have been using both ebay and DPW auctions to sell. It's fun, something new and different to try.

Debbie, I swear...I've never seen anyone paint watermelon as good as you do; I'm serious, this is a complient. It's just so realistic I almost expect to see juices starting to come out of it onto the table.
ReplyDeleteWOWEEE!!!

ReplyDeleteYou captured the texture of the watermelon so well. Your choice of color for the surface is perfect. Great painting.
ReplyDeleteLush and tantalizing!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully painted though I've never really been a huge fan of watermelon (to eat). The cherries, however, having me wanting to pluck one from the screen!
