I'm really liking these latest works! The new subject matter is fun and I'm seeing you loosen up a bit on the brushwork. Great realistic work on the china cup and the jelly. You continue to do lovely work!
It just occurred to me that your style is so close to THE Duane Keiser! I'm sure you are not consciously copying him, but it is very close. Are you an admirer of his work? What you do is your style all the way, my comment is not to take away from that, it is a huge compliment!!!!
Marilyn, thanks for the compliment. Duane's work is outstanding!! so perfect.. have you watched his painting videos on youtube? He's amazing. I don't know if I would compare anything I paint with his! but thank you!!
