I saw these 2 bananas lying on the kitchen counter, and they seemed to me to be posed as if they were taking a nap together. Isn't that cute?! Anyway, that's why I wanted to paint their picture.
My first thought was that they were "spooning". They do look "cute", but they are also painted beautifully. You are very good and practiced at painting bananas. I like the introduction of the red/orange tones. I also think your represented the texture of the smooth, but mat surface of the peeling. Great painting.
Having tried to paint a similar picture recently, but nowhere near as successfully as yours, I think this is brilliant.
