I love the unusual shape of pomegranates, and wanted to paint one. I looked for one that still had the little tips still attached on top. This one had a couple tips missing, but still such a beautiful red, and fun shape to paint. Here are a couple in progress pics... I had chosen a piece of decorative paper to use in the background, but decided not to use it.
