Oil on 5x5 gessobord.
I started painting this about a week ago, just after I painted the previous shells one, and just before I came down with a monster cold. Since then I haven't been doing much of anything, but I'm feeling better now, and getting myself caught up with things. Finishing this one was just the thing to get me started, and I went on to paint a couple more small things today, too. So, I'm feeling much better now!
Lovely and that pearl, just like the one below, is just so full of warm luster!
ReplyDeleteGosh Debbie, can you really paint a few little paintings in one day? Once I did two on a Saturday, and wanted to hug myself! I am still mainly miserably slow, any tips on painting faster would make a great blog (hint, hint!)
ReplyDeleteSo nice...and the pearl is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments!! Judy, I hardly ever paint more than one keeper in a day, I think it was because I hadn't painted in a long time, and because they were tiny 4x4 panels! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
