"Citrus Fruits"

Oil on 5x7 hardboard
A few colorful fruits, and a sprig of leaves. I have been using this same little leafy stem for weeks now, it was originally in a floral arrangement I received on my birthday in July!! I have no idea what it's called, but, I've kept it in a vase and I keep changing the flowers, and it hasn't shown any signs of wilting yet! I wonder how long it will last?

  4. I am a California native, transplated to Pennsylvania. This remids me of my childhood when we had citrus trees growing in the back yard of our San Fernando Valley home. These look AMAZING, and like they were just plucked from the trees. Excellent work.

Have you tried Claessens Belgian #13 linen panels (http://canvaspanels.com/Products,001.html#Anchor1)? I love them and they have now replaced hardboard as my favourite surface.
