Oil on 5x7 hardboard panel
The colors in these fruits remind me of the same colors in the trees right now. I picked up the leaf while out for a walk. It really caught my eye, bright scarlet red with yellow and green running through the veins.
Hope everyone had a nice Halloween! It was cold and rainy here.. so cold that the rain changed over to wet snow!!! I had lots of cold and wet trick or treaters at the door :-)
This is gorgeous! The textures in the fruit are wonderful. Love the shadow falling across the apple. The striations of color in the apple are lovely, and I love the bright colors in this! Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt is a very warm night in San Antonio, but we live in a small neighborhood, so I didn't get many trick-or-treaters. I'm about to turn off the lights at 9 o'clock.
Love how you handled the glowing light, and the way it melds into shadow.
