Oil on 5x7 hardboard panel
This is a crocheted angel christmas ornament made by my aunt. I hang it on my tree every year. The berries are a decoration from a wreath that I added for some color. I like how this came out, I'm getting myself into the Christmas spirit!
I had a hard time getting a picture of it though, it's been dark, cloudy, raining and, now, snowing here for the past few days, and I like to take my pictures outside in the daylight. It's been a waiting game... watching for that sky to clear! I've got another similar Christmas painting in progress. I'll try and finish that one up tomorrow, and hopefully get a picture of it between the snow falls. :-)

ReplyDeleteWow! It's so Christmas... You have the red plastic berries, the shiny gold and the sweet chrocheted angel from Auntie, no wonder you're feeling like Christmas. Brilliant job on the crocheted textures, that looks amazing.
