"Lemon Wedges on Plate" Oil on 5x7 board

Sold

Here's a picture of my set up and work in progress.  This lemon is the same one I used in my last lemon painting! I found it wrapped up in the fridge, so I thought I'd use it again.  It was a little dry and moldy in spots, but I left that part out of the painting!

  1. Debbie - are you left-handed? Curious, since your setup always seems to be on your right in your process photos.

  2. How simply beautiful, Debbie. I love the subtle color and thoughtful highlights. And that plate rim just plain makes me happy! :)

  3. Yes Sarah, your right, I'm left handed! I once read, when you paint, you shouldn't be looking over the arm you paint with,(I guess it might block the view in some cases) so I always put my set up on the right, and the paint on the left.
