I had started this painting just before reorganizing and painting my room. It has been sitting patiently waiting for me to finish it ever since. This week, I finally got back to it, and even though I thought it was pretty much finished, I added the flower to brighten it up a bit.

This is lovely. It gives such a feeling of peace. I love all of the shadows (and the flower is a cheery bright spot).
